This week's issue of Cosmic Powers Unlimited features the first of a three part Protectors of the Universe, taking place after their battle with Rune, as the Protectors make some changes to their rosters.

We also have three new crossover stories this week.  First in another edition of The Last Herald of Galactus, as Kal-El betrays Galactus and teams with Earth's greatest heroes to defeat him.  And in this week's Cosmic Treasure Hunt, the greatest heroes and villains of the Marvel and DC universes are joining up as the hunt begins, while the fate of Dr. Fate is revealed in the latest Shards of Destiny saga - Batman/Warlock: Soul Brothers.
